Are we the only ones?!

Oh what a week!
Thursday: On the way to take Kevin's dad to the hospital (in 2 separate cars); we got separated. Some lady that had taken a Darvocet and fell asleep driving sideswipes me. So, after flagging her down to pull over (she had no idea this happened) we work out everything with the police. I call my OB to see if I can just go in to get Cooper checked out. She tells me to go straight to the Emergency Room. I start to panic. I have no way of getting in touch with Kevin, my dad who always handles the car insurance stuff is on a plane, so I call my mom in tears trying to relay information to her but it was just panic and wailing... I go up to the Labor and Delivery floor to be strapped onto some monitors and I start to freak out. I have never been in the hospital before, I have never had to wear one of those awful gowns, I have never had to do something like this on my own.
So, I get settled and I hear from Kevin (after several people relaying messages and putting notes on his car) and his dad is going to the emergency room too. Only at a hospital in Fayetteville. Praise the Lord my mom called and said "I don't know whats going on, where are you? I'm on my way" 2 and 1/2 hours later Kevin is able to leave his dad and as he just sits down in my room, the nurse says everythings fine! You can go home now! I truly enjoyed the time I had listening to Cooper's heartbeat and hear him kick. I just wish there were different circumstances.
We leave and get dinner then spend the next 10 hours at the hospital in Fayetteville. Kevin's dad is admitted and we finally leave around 4am.
Tonight, coming home from work, Rembrandt (the cat) runs outside as soon as the door opens and Kevin has to chase him down. Looking closer I see what I thought was blood all over him. I suddenly realize it is bright red paint... I run into the nursery and see an entire pint of red paint sprawled out in the middle of our tan carpet. Not even to see the tiny footprints all over the carpet, walls, windowsills, etc... Apparently when you have cats that can jump to open doors, just setting the lid on the paint doesn't work too well. Our beautiful nursery is destroyed. We had spent an entire week perfecting the white polka dots on the red stripe between the 2 gorgeous shades of blue. Now there are red "polka dots" all over the room. 2 hours of using the wet-vac has just made a bigger pink spot in the middle of our tan carpet. I am furious. Not even to mention that they opened the pantry door and dumped 1lb of flour on the floor, pooped on it, and knocked other various baking items into it.
For those of you who don't know these cats have destroyed our house. They are barely 1 year old. After getting them fixed, declawed, and on anti-anxiety meds, they still poop, pee, jump to open doors and tear everything apart. So, I (the crazy cat lady) have come to a decision to get rid of my babies. They have brought me so much laughter and joy but double that of hatred for them. It is going to be hard, but we cannot live like this especially with a baby on the way and needing to save money. I am detaching from them and we hope to find them a home soon. If you know of anyone who is willing to take these 2 heathens please let me know. They have to go to a good home where they will not miss their mommy and be able to stay together. WE ARE DESPERATE!

So, only 16 more weeks of pregnancy (supposedly) and we shall meet Cooper Silas Geng. Our bouncing baby boy is doing quite well and apparently is pretty aggressive with all the punching and kicking he is doing to his poor mother. Hopefully we will have our 19 week ultrasound pictures up soon!
